A full listing of the major February festivals and celebrations in the Philippines from the Philippine Department of Tourism.

The Philippines, having been under Spain and the United States, assimilated a number of Western holidays and celebrations but given a certain twist to integrate Filipino customs and values. The spirit of Valentine's day is encapsulated in various "Festivals of the Heart" in February that focus on Filipino tradition, like the Harana (Serenade).

With a significant Filipino Chinese population that is integral part of the culture -- the younger generation prefer to call themselves "Tsinoy" to signify their Chinese origins as well as allegiance as Filipinos -- the Chinese New Year is celebrated with public festivities in almost every major metro areas in the country.

The "Panagbenga Festival of Flowers" in Baguio City (Benguet) has become a major celebration.  Situated in the Cordillera Autonomous Region (CAR) of Northern Luzon, many of the participants from the region also highlights the Igorot culture of the region.
